2025 Federal Election

The Federal election is set for 3 May 2025.

Noosa Council has released a federal government wish list for local candidates and their parties.

There are seven key priorities the Council wants candidates to consider. Investment in housing, key road infrastructure, environmental reforms and a better funding deal for all Queensland councils.

These support the strategic goals detailed in Council’s corporate plan to make Noosa a better shire for those who live, work and visit here.

Election signage

An election sign is a temporary sign advertising or promoting a political candidate or candidates, a registered political party, or a campaign for a Commonwealth, State or local government election during an election period or in relation to a referendum.

It's important that candidates and their support teams are familiar with the laws surrounding signage(PDF, 49KB) in the Noosa local government area and comply with the requirements.
