Principles, Plans & Strategies

There are a number of informing strategies and plans that allow council to set its priorities within its resourcing capability and deliver short-term, medium-term and long-term community priorities and aspirations.

Each of these strategies and plans contain priorities, key initiatives and actions to be undertaken to achieve specific desired outcomes. Key initiatives and actions to be undertaken in the delivery of these strategies and plans are incorporated in the development of the yearly Operational Plans(PDF, 884KB) and Budget through the new initiatives and budget process and the regular review of action plans and their progress by council.
