On 21 July 2022, Council adopted a new Governance Framework which has been prepared to provide a holistic and strategic overview of our current governance practices across Council. The Noosa Council Governance framework consists of the rules, relationships, systems and processes within and by which authority is exercised and decisions are made and actioned within the organisation to optimise Council’s performance to achieve its objectives. Council is required to report on a range of governance related matters in accordance with the Local Government Act 2009.
