Noosa North Shore Ferry Service

Ferry slider

The Noosa North Shore ferry service operates every day of the year and connects passengers from the river end of Moorindil Street, Tewantin, across to Maximillion Road, Noosa North Shore.

The ferry departs approximately every 10 minutes on a continual rotation during these times:

  • 5.30am – 10.20pm Sunday – Thursday
  • 5.30am – 12.20am Friday and Saturday

Operations July 2024

From late July 2024 the ferry service transitions to a new provider, after council awarded the new contract to Divers Den Investments Pty Ltd (Entrada Travel Group).

The new operator is providing new, larger capacity ferries, as well as the capacity for online ticket purchases and cash and card payments on board.  Its website will provide for online ticket purchases soon after the ferries transitions are completed.

Infrastructure for the new service will also be installed during June & July 2024, with slight delays on these days, and where possible, these works will be planned outside of peak times.

Email the new operator for any enquiries on the new service.

Fees and charges

Council outsources the operations of the ferry service via a commercial service agreement and sets the hours of operation (see above) and fares.

This is the Noosa North Shore Landowners Concession Procedure Summary as referred to in Council's Fees and Charges register.
