Go Noosa Weekends aims to provide a relaxed and convenient travelling experience that helps locals and visitors better access busy locations at peak traffic and parking times.
Free Weekend Buses
Due to popular demand, the free weekend bus trial that started in February 2022 will continue for the foreseeable future (current as at March 2024).
Weekend travel is free on services that stay within the shire and includes Translink routes 626, 627, 628, 629 and 632 only.

Please note: Routes 620, 622, 630 and 631 travel outside of the Noosa Shire Council area and are not included in the free service.
The free weekend bus services will be extended to the Australia Day, Labour Day, Kings Birthday and Noosa Show public holidays, which fall on a long weekend in 2024.
In delivering these services, Council is continuing its commitment to moving towards zero emissions and providing the community with more varied travel options that promote active and healthy choices in the region.
Park & Ride to Hastings Street
Park the car and hop on a free bus. Long stay car parking is available at Tewantin CBD and the Noosa Junction Transit Centre.
