Go Noosa Weekends aims to provide a relaxed and convenient travelling experience that helps locals and visitors better access busy locations at peak traffic and parking times.

You can easily reach popular destinations and explore the region with TransLink’s Local bus routes for travel within Noosa Shire

  • 626 TEWANTIN - SUNRISE BEACH via Gympie Tce, Noosa Heads and Noosa Junction. 
  • 627 TEWANTIN - SUNSHINE BEACH via Gympie Tce, Noosa Heads and Noosa Junction.
  • 628 NOOSA PARKLANDS - NOOSA JUNCTION via Noosa Civic, Noosa Village and Noosa AFL Grounds.
  • 629 TEWANTIN - NOOSA JUNCTION via Beckmans Rd, Noosa Civic  and Noosa Heads.
  • 632 NOOSA JUNCTION  - COORAN via Weyba Rd, Noosa Village, Noosa Civic, Tewantin, Cooroy and Pomona.  

Additionally, routes 620, 622, 630, and 631 extend to areas beyond the Noosa Shire Council boundary.  

Noosa Free Weekend Bus Trial

On 30 November 2024, the Queensland Government introduced permanent 50-cent fares for all Translink bus services, ensuring that public transport remains affordable and accessible for everyone. This initiative encourages more people to choose sustainable travel options, supporting a greener, more connected community.  

Due to the permanent 50-cent fare the Go Noosa free weekend bus trial has been discontinued as of 11 February 2025.

Go Noosa free buses

Park & Ride to Hastings Street

Park the car and hop on a bus. Long stay car parking is available at Tewantin CBD and the Noosa Junction Transit Centre.
