De-stress with Movement, Breath and Meditation

Back

Join us at eight areas around the community as we learn simple tools and techniques to help you navigate the pressures of everyday life, especially when you’re feeling stressed or overwhelmed.

In these sessions you will:

• Move your body to release stress and tension;

• Harness the power of your breath to relax your body and clear your mind; and

• Learn simple meditation techniques to cultivate a calm state of being.

Empower yourself to reduce stress and anxiety in your life by learning simple practices that will help you regulate your nervous system.

You are welcome to drop in for one or more sessions, and you don’t need to reserve a spot. Everyone is welcome and no previous experience of breathwork or meditation is necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat and cushion.

NB there is no age limit to this class, however attending children must be in participation; not observing class; and therefore should be capable of following guided instructions and particating in a manner that is not disruptive to class

These sessions are currently FREE.
