Council’s Communication and Community Engagement Manager Ken Furdek said the monthly eNews was a vital tool in connecting with our community.

“We have over 1700 subscribers and it is a critical component of keeping residents informed,” he said.

Council has a strong focus on being transparent, engaging and delivering excellence in customer service.

The eNews is just one of the methods that Council provides to residents and ratepayers as a way to stay up to date with what’s happening.

“Sign up before February 26 and you’ll go into the draw to win a Noosa Aquatic Centre 12-month family swim pass,” Mr Furdek said.

“We’re also on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, so anyone using these social media platforms may like to follow Council to ensure they never miss an update,” Mr Furdek said.

“Council’s Facebook page is updated regularly with useful information, and provides an opportunity for the community to connect with Council, plus it serves a very important function during times of disaster.

“It’s the place to look for information about road closures, flooding and other urgent advice from Noosa’s Local Disaster Coordination Centre.”
