Council hosts free online grant workshops

Community, sporting and not-for-profit groups are invited to attend free online grant workshops on 25 August.

The workshops will provide an overview of Council’s Community Grants Program.

The latest round of Community Grants and Regional Arts Development Fund grants opened on Wednesday 3 August.  

Council’s Grants Officer, Meagan Monk, said the online sessions will include discussion about Council’s grants program lifecycle, changes to forms, going over how to complete the budget, what makes a good application and grant tips.  

There will also be a question time for anyone wanting to stay on afterwards.  

“We don’t want any applicants to feel overwhelmed and we want to support them through this process,” Ms Monk said.  

This is event is free, but attendees must register. For bookings, send an email.  

When: Thursday 25 August, 2.00pm to 2.30pm and 5.00pm to 5.30pm (two online sessions).
