Call Council to discuss flexible rates payment arrangements.

“Council offers a range of instalment and deferred payment options to help make paying rates more manageable for Noosa ratepayers,” Cr Stewart said.

“We understand that many in our community are still facing difficult times due to the impact of recent severe weather events, economic uncertainty, cost-of-living increases and the ongoing COVID-19 impacts,” she said.

“The recent February flood events have caused significant challenges for some households and businesses, particularly those impacted by the Black Mountain Road landslip.

“We’re working as fast as we can to repair the damage and we thank our community for their ongoing patience and understanding. We’re here to help where we can with flexible rates payment options,” the Mayor said.

“I urge our ratepayers to make the most of these options. Our staff are also on hand over the phone to answer enquiries.  The 5% earlybird discount period ends August 19, so please remember to make payment in full by that date if you can, otherwise please contact Council for assistance.”

Council’s customer service call centre can assist both business and residential ratepayers with information about hardship arrangements and payment options. Call (07) 5329 6500 or visit Council's website.

“We will do what we can to support our community, just as we did in previous years with deferred payment dates, payment plans, advocacy and other assistance.”

Payments can be paid by credit card, direct debit and BPay.
