Noosa Council will hold its November 15 Ordinary Meeting at Pomona.

“Holding the Ordinary Meeting in different parts of the shire gives residents who don’t live near the Tewantin chambers the opportunity to experience a Council meeting and meet with their elected representatives,” Mayor Tony Wellington said.

The meeting will be held at the Pomona Showgrounds Hall, corner of Exhibition Street and Pavilion Street, Pomona.

“There will be time both before and after the meeting for residents to discuss local issues with councillors.

The meeting starts at 6pm, but residents can arrive from 5pm to chat with Councillors.

Mayor Wellington, Deputy Mayor Frank Wilkie and Councillors Jess Glasgow, Ingrid Jackson, Joe Jurisevic, Frank Pardon and Brian Stockwell will all be on hand at the meeting, as well as some senior Council staff.

The Ordinary Meeting is the last meeting in each meeting cycle.

“I look forward to meeting residents who come along on November 15,” the Mayor said.
