Council to hold June 21 Ordinary Meeting at Kin Kin
Noosa Council will hold its June 21 Ordinary Meeting at Kin Kin to give hinterland residents a chance to experience a Council meeting and chat with Councillors close to home.
The Ordinary Meeting, which is the final meeting in each meeting cycle, will be held at the Kin Kin School of Arts Hall, 50 Main Street, Kin Kin from 6pm.
The official meeting starts at 6pm, but residents can arrive from 5pm to chat with the Mayor, Councillors and the Council's Executive Team.
Mayor Tony Wellington said there would also be time after the meeting for residents to discuss any issues of concern with Councillors.
“By holding the Ordinary Meetings off-site from time to time, we aim to provide residents the chance to observe the decision-making process, and to have ready access to all of their local government representatives,” he said.
“We’ve held Ordinary Meetings in a range of locations across Noosa Shire previously, and they’ve generally been well attended. We look forward to meeting with Kin Kin and other hinterland locals on June 21,” the Mayor said.
Kin Kin School of Arts Hall is at 50 Main Street, Kin Kin.
