Council to hold Thursday meeting at Sunshine Beach

Noosa Council will hold its November 16 Ordinary Meeting at Sunshine Beach.

It’s a chance for local residents to sit in on a Council meeting and chat with Councillors before and after.

The Ordinary Meeting, which is the final meeting in each meeting cycle, will be held at Sunshine Beach State Primary School, in the school hall.

The official meeting starts at 6pm, but residents can arrive from 5pm to chat with the Mayor, Councillors and the Council's Executive Team.

“There will also be time after the meeting for residents to discuss any issues of concern with Councillors,” Mayor Tony Wellington said.

“By holding the Ordinary Meetings off-site from time to time, we aim to provide residents in those areas the chance to witness the decision-making process, and to have a chat with their representatives.

“We’ve previously held Ordinary Meetings in a range of locations across Noosa Shire, and they’ve been very well attended. I look forward to meeting Sunshine Beach locals on Thursday,” the Mayor said.

Sunshine Beach State Primary School is on Bicentennial Drive, Sunshine Beach.
