Noosa Council rate notices in the mail

Back

Noosa ratepayers will receive their Noosa Council rate notices in the mail this week.

Noosa Council encourages ratepayers to make their payment by the 18 August due date to take advantage of the 5% discount on the general rate.

Council offers ratepayers a variety of payment options:

  • BPAY.
  • Online at Council's website.
  • Credit card by phone.
  • Over the counter at any Australia Post office.
  • In person at Council’s Level 2 Counter, 9 Pelican Street, Tewantin.
  • By direct debit, either via a total deduction on the rates due date or regular periodic deductions. If you have not already made arrangements to pay by direct debit an application form is available from Council’s website.

Council now offers BPAY View, which enables a rate notice to be sent to an owner’s appropriate financial institution, which then alerts the customer of a bill awaiting action within their internet banking platform.

The process for BPAY View is as follows: -

  • The customer logs on to their personal internet banking platform and registers to receive their Council rate notice via BPAY View.
  • They will then receive a notification when they have a new Council bill, which they can view in a secure online environment, and then make the payment from within their internet banking, following the usual BPAY process.

Ratepayers who do not receive their rate notices by 29 July should contact Council on (07) 5329 6500 to check their postal address and request a copy notice.
