Fun for the whole family at Noosa Regional Gallery

Families are invited to celebrate a special Family Day at Noosa Regional Gallery with a guest artist and free art activities, for all ages.  

“This Family Day will be May 7, so as not to clash with Mother’s Day,” Gallery Coordinator Nicole Maggs said.

“The community is invited to pack a picnic and make a day of it.”

Townsville artist Alison McDonald presents a free workshop for all ages from 9am – 12pm, exploring the imaginary world of ‘Triffid’ construction using recycled, single-use plastics.

Gallery staff and volunteers will also work with families at other activity stations to create special gifts for all sorts of occasions.

“Be sure to be there between 11am and 2pm to create the perfect, handmade gift,” Ms Maggs said.

The Gallery’s monthly Family Day is a great way to entertain the whole family.
