Noosa Regional Gallery presents the work of renowned Singaporean artist, Ruben Pang.

Pang is one of South East Asia’s most exciting young artists.

Celebrated for his intuitive abstract style, Pang’s oil paintings on aluminium surfaces are often described as mystical and radiant.

“We are thrilled to exhibit works by such an inspiring and talented artist,” says Noosa Regional Gallery Coordinator Nicole Maggs.

“Pang only painted these works recently during his residency in Brisbane and we are pleased to have them on display.”

27-year-old Pang is touring Queensland to gain a taste of Australian art, particularly the works of like-minded artists James Gleeson and Albert Tucker.

“Ruben’s works are not only highly sought-after but he represents a new generation of global artists who travel extensively to connect more deeply with the world and its environs,” Ms Maggs said.

Ruben Pang’s ‘The Glass Eye Opens’ is on show at Noosa Regional Gallery until June 11, 2017.
