Humans' animal interactions inspire Gallery's latest exhibition
What do a five-metre crocodile, a full back tattoo and a Monkey riding a donkey, have in common?
They are all part of Noosa Regional Gallery’s next exhibition, Animal FanFair: Humans-Animals-Environment.
Opening Thursday, 2 March, the show features the works of 10 Queensland artists, each exploring our changing relationships with animals.
Noosa Regional Gallery co-ordinator Nicole Maggs said the Gallery was rolling out a full program of events during the exhibition.
“It’s a clever and fun exhibition,” Ms Maggs said.
“We’ve got art workshops, for both adults and kids, artist talks, educational materials and a couple of free Family Day programs to encourage people to really get amongst it all.”
The official opening begins at 6pm, Thursday, March 2. All welcome, cash bar available. The exhibition runs until April 23.
Animal FanFair is a Moreton Bay Regional Council touring exhibition, managed by Museum and Galleries Queensland. This project is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
