Apply now for Community Projects Grants
Council is seeking applications for the next round of Community Project Grants.
Deputy Mayor Frank Wilkie said the grant program was designed to help not-for-profit community groups continue their important work.
“This grant program is a great example of Council working hand-in-hand with the community. We’re looking for viable and well-planned projects that will benefit our local community and add to our social capital.”
Community Projects Grants help fund eligible projects and programs plus cultural, sports or community events.
The grants, allocated through a competitive assessment process twice a year, can also help fund building works or repairs to local community facilities.
The grants are open to eligible not-for-profit community organisations.
Applications close 29 March.
“The on-going Community Projects Grants have supported a wide range of initiatives across the Shire,” the Deputy Mayor said.
“We are looking forward to hearing from local community groups as to their plans and how Council may be able to assist them through this latest round of grant funding.”
