Switch to paperless rates bill option before January 5
Ratepayers who’d prefer to receive their January rates notice via email have until January 5 to switch to paperless billing.
Council’s Corporate Services Director Michael Shave said receiving rates notices by email was not only convenient but better for the environment as it reduced paper use.
“Council is pleased to assist the growing number of ratepayers who wish to go paperless – switching is easy,” he said.
Just visit Council's website to make the switch.
“Fill out the online form, specifying the property or properties you own and your preferred email address,” Mr Shave said.
“Ratepayers who make the switch by January 5 will receive their January rates notice by email. For those who sign-up after this date, their rates notices will go paperless mid-year,” he said.
“Switching to email to receive your rates notice is not only convenient, it is better for the environment.”
