Mayor Tony Wellington will be on hand at Noosa Council’s tent at the Noosa Show on Friday between 2pm and 3pm and on Saturday between 11.30 – 12.30 to meet citizens and answer questions.

Councils Communications Officer (Events) Heather Williams said “Noosa Council’s tent will be a hive of activity with Noosa Library services’ interactive storytelling using puppets, songs, play and drama based on The Enormous Crocodile by Roald Dahl,  and the opportunity for young people to have their say on the New Noosa Plan.

“There will be a plant display by Council’s Parks & Natural Areas team and  Friends of the Botanical Gardens’ will be selling plants.

“There’ll be tips and tricks for responsible dog ownership, a worm farm and the latest on recycling including new items the landfill site will now accept free of charge.

“The first 20 people to come and say ‘hi’ at the Council tent each day will win free swim passes to Noosa Aquatic Centre and fitness passes to Noosa Leisure Centre.

“We hope to see you at the Noosa Show. It is always a great fun day out for the family.”

Council’s marquee will be located at a new site this year, just left of the main entrance gate.
