Smartphone app makes contacting Council easier
Reporting a pothole, graffiti and a host of other issues to Council just got easier, thanks to the Snap Send Solve smartphone app.
Locals can use the app to snap a picture and send details to Council at the touch of a button.
Noosa Council CEO Brett de Chastel said the app made it easier for residents and visitors to raise issues online.
“In addition to photos, smartphone users can also add location details using the phone’s GPS,” Mr de Chastel said.
The Snap Send Solve app is free to download on both iOS and Android devices.
“Whether reporting a pothole, graffiti, broken playground or litter issue, the app makes contacting Council easier,” he said.
Requests lodged via Snap Send Solve are sent direct to Council’s customer service team.
“There is no need to sign up for an account in order to submit a request, however it is a good idea to include contact details so we can provide updates or ask questions,” Mr de Chastel said.
Snap Send Solve – a private third party app – is also useful for visitors who may not have Council’s contact details.
Residents can still contact Council by phone on 07 5329 6500 or by email to mail@noosa.qld.gov.au.
