Special Meeting to consider next year's budget

Noosa Council will hold a Special Meeting on 16 June to consider its 2016/2017 budget.

Council will finalise a new operational plan, as well as the budget, to be adopted at the end of June.

Noosa Council CEO Brett de Chastel said the meeting was open to the public and residents interested in the Shire’s finances and priorities for next year were encouraged to attend.

Mayor Tony Wellington will announce key details of the draft budget for discussion, with the final budget to be ratified on 29 June.

The budget Special Meeting will commence at 10am, 16 June, at Noosa Council’s Tewantin chambers, 9 Pelican Street, Tewantin.
