Gallery stays up late!

Noosa Regional Gallery will be open late on Thursday 9 June to take votes for the Noosa Art Award’s People’s Choice category.

Gallery Director Nina Shadforth said voting would close on Sunday, 12 June, with the Gallery’s late close on Thursday offering people an additional opportunity to cast a vote.

“The late close will allow those who perhaps can’t make it into the Gallery during normal opening hours to view the entries and cast a vote at a time that is convenient,” she said.

Voters go into the draw to win a $50 gift voucher for the Noosa Regional Gallery Shop.

“Choose one of 64 works in the exhibition, all unique and across many media, and the artist with the most votes, as voted by the people, will win a $1000 cash prize, sponsored by the Friends Noosa Regional Gallery,” Ms Shadforth said.

“Young people can participate too in the Children’s Choice to win a fabulous Noosa Regional Gallery Art Pack.

“So why not come in before dinner and cast your vote. The Gallery will be open until 7.30pm, Thursday 9 June.”
