Work will begin work in March to repair Cooroy Belli Creek Road following a landslip last year.
Council has awarded SGQ Pty Ltd a $268,658 contract to repair the landslip.
Planning and Infrastructure Director Martin Drydale said the Queensland Reconstruction Authority would cover the bulk of the $303,658 estimated total cost under National Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements.
“We plan to begin this work in March and Council will take steps to minimise the impact for residents and motorists. We appreciate the community’s patience while the repairs are under way,” Mr Drydale said.
Council expects to complete the project in four to six weeks.
The landslip occurred during ex-tropical cyclone Marcia last year.
