Noosa Woods public toilets closed for renovations

The Noosa Woods public toilets will be closed for renovations for three weeks.

Work crews will re-tile and waterproof the floors, install skylights to boost natural light, repaint the walls, install two new external showers and pressure-wash the external walls.

The toilets were closed on 30 November and Council has provided two temporary toilets nearby while work is underway.

“To carry out the refurbishment safely and ensure the contractors finish the work on time we need to close the amenities block,” Project Officer Ian Pearce says.

Mr Pearce said public amenities near Noosa Spit and below the Noosa Heads Surf Club would remain open.

Council has partnered with the Hastings Street Association to refurbish the Noosa Woods toilet block.

Mr Pearce said Council hoped to complete the work in three weeks, weather permitting.

“This work will provide brighter and cleaner amenities for residents and visitors at Noosa Woods. We will be working as fast as possible to reopen the facility quickly and we appreciate the community’s patience,” he said.
