School holiday fun for kids of all ages
Council’s venues and facilities are gearing up for the school holidays with an exciting events program for kids of all ages.
The program provides free and low-cost activities such as craft workshops, puppet-making classes, fitness sessions, outdoor cinema screenings, learn-to-swim classes, kids disco, storytelling and more.
Community Facilities Manager Ashley Saward said The J’s KidZone Disco for children aged between 6 and 9 was sure to be a hit, as was the indoor jumping castle event for children aged between 3 and 10.
Libraries and Galleries Manager Kerri Contini said the program offered something for children of all ages, from the Circus Playground at both libraries to the very special Family
Night In at Cooroy Library which will explore the spirit of indigenous Australia.
“Noosa Leisure Centre, Noosa Library Service, Noosa Aquatic Centre, Butter Factory Arts Centre, The J and Noosa Regional Gallery are all getting into the holiday spirit offering educational, safe, low-cost entertainment for local youngsters,” she said.
Bookings are essential for some activities.
