Apply now for a Festive Season Grant

Noosa Council is now accepting applications in the first round of the new Festive Season Grants program.

Festive Season Grants provide support for public events such as Australia Day celebrations, New Year’s celebrations, Christmas carols concerts, and parades and festivals that celebrate Christmas in Noosa Shire.

Noosa Council Community Development Coordinator Alison Hamblin said events must take place between 1 November and 31 January and meet a number of eligibility criteria.

“Successful applicants will receive a contribution towards their festive event for up to three years,” Ms Hamblin says.

“Unlike other Noosa Council grants this grant is not limited to not-for-profit organisations.”

Ms Hamblin said applicants should visit Council’s website at www.noosa.qld.gov.au/council-grants for information about the application process and eligibility requirements.

Applications close 31 July 2015.
