Council opens RADF funding round

Noosa Council is joining over 50 Queensland Councils who are participating in the State Government's Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) in 2014.

This fund is a highly successful state and local government partnership that supports professional and emerging professional artists and arts practitioners living in regional Queensland. The RADF program focuses on the development of quality art and arts practice for, and with, regional communities. RADF is a partnership between the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and Councils to support local arts and culture.

Arts Queensland, through the RADF Program, has a priority to support professional artists and arts workers, including those working in a cultural development context and living in regional communities, to practise originality and innovation in the development of quality arts activities and initiatives.

The Noosa Regional Arts Development Fund, round opens Monday 17 February and closes 12:00 noon Friday 28 March, 2014. Applicants will be advised on or after the 2 June 2014.

Applications are invited for activities beginning after 1 July this year.
