Local artists and hobbyists group together at Noosa Regional Gallery

A diverse selection of two dimensional and three dimensional works will be on exhibition free to the public at Noosa Council's Noosa Regional Gallery from 22 January to 16 February, 2014.

A Taste of Art: 2014 presented by the Friends of Noosa Regional Gallery is in its third year as a group show.

Gallery Director, Nina Shadforth, says that the exhibition, curated by a Friends sub-committee, is aimed at encouraging the richness and diversity of the local creative voices within the Friends of the gallery, to showcase their interests and talents.

All are welcome to attend the official opening of One the Edge: Emma Freeman on Friday 24 January at 6pm, with guest speaker: Emma Freeman. RSVP on 5329 6145. (cash bar available)

Artists in the group show will be vying for Highly Commended awards in 2D and 3D categories valued at $250 each and one artist will be selected for an Encouragement award to the value of $500, sponsored by Jim Berardo.

Family Day: Sunday 9 February, 11am to 2pm
Meet the Friends!
Free creative activities for children based on the current exhibitions. Sausage-sizzle at 12noon.
No bookings required.
