Noosa ratepayers will begin to receive their Noosa Council rates notices in the mail from tomorrow.
Payment is due by 20 February to qualify for a 5% discount on the general rate.
Noosa Council offers a variety of payment methods including:
BPAY – from debit account only
Online at www.noosa.qld.gov.au
Credit card by phone
At any Australia Post office
In person at the Level 2 counter, at the Pelican Street, Tewantin office
By direct debit, either via a total deduction on the rates due date or regular periodic deductions.
Noosa Council Corporate Services Director Michael Shave said residents were reminded that credit card payments now attracted a 0.50% surcharge.
“Ratepayers who do not wish to incur the surcharge can choose to pay via alternative methods such as BPAY from a savings account, or by direct debit,” he said.
A direct debit application form is available from Council’s website at www.noosa.qld.gov.au.
Ratepayers who have not received their rates notice by the end of January should contact Council on 07 5329 6500.
