Council's Thursday meeting to be held at Peregian

Residents are invited to meet Noosa's mayor and the shire's six councillors when Noosa Council takes its Ordinary Meeting to Peregian Beach this Thursday.

The meeting will be held at 6pm at Peregian Beach Surf Life Saving Club, with opportunities to meet Mayor Noel Playford, councillors and senior staff between 5pm and 6pm, and again after the meeting from 6.30pm.

"This is a great opportunity for residents in and around Peregian Beach to experience a Council meeting and raise issues they are concerned about directly with either myself or their councillors," said Cr Playford.

It‘s the second of two meetings Council resolved earlier this year to hold offsite.

The first meeting, held at Pomona, was a success.

"The hinterland community welcomed the opportunity to attend the Ordinary Meeting in May at Pomona and I look forward to meeting residents this Thursday."

The meeting will begin at 6pm at Peregian Beach Surf Life Saving Club, Thursday, November 20.
