New Noosa Library kids' card at the Noosa Country Show

Back

The first Noosa Library Service kids' card will be on display in the Noosa Council marquee at the show. The card features vibrant colours, lively characters and is the original artwork by local cartoonist Dave Hackett.

Cartoon Dave will be at the show on Friday sharing his drawing techniques and art of cartooning with families and kids. Participants will have the chance to create their own cartoon character during the 20 minute, free sessions at 10.20-10.40am, 11-11.20am and 11.40-12noon.

No bookings are required for these free sessions. At 12noon Councillor Joe Jursevic will be there to help hand out the new Noosa Libraries kids' cards.

Kids can get their new library card at the Noosa Mobile Library, which also joins in the fun at the show and will be located near the council marquee. Families will discover that the libraries "rest & read" area is a great spot to relax in the shade and read a story or two. Kids will be able to contribute to RAW:Kids' magazine with their illustrations, book reviews or best show stories.
