Meet the finalists of the Noosa Art Award in public panel discussion

Noosa Council's Noosa Regional Gallery is hosting an informative panel discussion about the new Noosa Art Award. The Panel will be held in the gallery this Friday September 5 at 10.30am featuring a selection of the artists from the Noosa Art Award as guest panelists.

"We are thrilled to host a public panel to discuss topics surrounding arts practice, art awards and art collections, along with the challenges of working within themed opportunities," the Gallery Director said.

The Noosa Art Award Panel Discussion is a free event and open to the public.  Join us for morning tea on arrival and participate in thought-provoking discussions. RSVP to the gallery on gallery@noosa.qld.gov.au

Visitors to the exhibition can participate and vote for their favourite artist in the People's Choice Award and go in the draw to win a $50 voucher for the Noosa Regional Gallery shop. The winner of the $1000 People's Choice Award, sponsored by the Friends of Noosa Regional Gallery, will be announced Friday 26 September at 11.30am.

The 2014 Noosa Art Award Finalist exhibition continues until 5 October, 2014.

The Noosa Regional Gallery is located Riverside, 9 Pelican Street, Tewantin and is open free to the public from Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 3pm.
