How to lodge an application with Council
Council offers several ways to lodge your development application (Building, Plumbing, Planning and Operational Works). The most convenient is by email. You can also lodge the application in person or by post.
By email
Development applications can be lodged to Council electronically.
All files should apply a ‘Plain English' naming convention such as ‘Application Forms' or ‘Proposal Plans'. You can email up to 15MB at one time. For larger applications or documents, split the attachments and emails.
All emails and attached documentation are to be sent to mail@noosa.qld.gov.au.
In person or by post
Two copies of all documents are required for hard copy applications. For Commercial Building and Plumbing Applications lodged in hard copy, four copies of all documents are needed.
You can lodge your development application in person or by post.
How to pay
Council requires payment to be made within two (2) business days of lodgement. This helps assist with the smooth processing of your application.
